At least Pat Gelsinger was forthcoming about it, unlike AMD who isn't telling us whether the 600 MHz K7 is an actual production piece or just another "demonstration chip."

By the way, can AMD go any lower even if they post really massive losses for Q1? I'm looking for the right time to jump in, although I feel 16 1/2 is still a little too high.

I didn't miss anything. What makes the K7 demo any different than the Intel demo? The article said noting about refrigeration for either chip and neither chip is ready for production so what's the difference?
