Yawn. This isn't really Brazil speaking, it is the mouth of Greenpeace -- in bad english.

The United States is shaking, with its "dirty" load of Monsanto soybeans. Notice Monsanto is in "violation" of a law passsed March 3rd (two weeks ago) in that state. Can you say "Banana Republic"?

(The following taken from the Greenpeace tabloid newswire...ooops...I mean...news story)

(bad english) "It will be very difficult for (Monsanto) to gather this information in time because IT TAKE some time to collect this kind of data,"

(banana government) "accused the multinational of breaking a new, March 3 state law"

Re: 03/18 15:30 Brazil state threatens to destroy Monsanto soy

...now we at least know the true story. Greenpeace told them to pass a law quick, and they did it. It wasn't that Monsanto's application was improper.
