I spoke to Aber today...although they cannot get into minute details of the dispute on the advise of counsel, I was told this : This is NOT a dispute about Aber not paying a bill, they have $120,000,000 in cash and have never not paid a debt owing. The dispute IS about whether WSP was notified that Aber was participating in the program...From Aber's standpoint, the following has occurred over the past few years - the JV has a meeting to approve the exploration program. At this meeting Aber tells WSP whether or not they are participating ( this year they told them they were participating ). Winspear, as the operator, HAS TO BILL Aber for it's share of the costs, it has not done so this year. Therefore, no bill, no money owing to WSP.
