I know I have made this point before, but if you look at the five year chart, the stock stalled in mid "97" after they announced the planned acquisition of Octel Communications, for about a billion in cash if I remember correctly. It was considered a chuck of LU's change at that particular point in time, and the stock drifted as it is doing now. A couple of months after the merger, BAM off to the races. We will see this pattern again, in the fall, a few months after they digest ASND. Kent
