The recent rapid oil price rise has some investors and portfolio managers looking at smaller Canadian Exploration and development firms.
Translation: Stick with growing gas-focused companies such as such as Berkley Petroleum Corp., (Westminster Res.), Bonavista., Newport., etc. Andrew Hogg, a Calgary-based analyst at First Marathon Securities Ltd., said his firm is not convinced the oil price rally is here to stay, and continues to emphasize gas companies.
Read tomorrow's (Friday) Financial Post Investing front page article titled How to take advantage of surging oils - stick with gas focus firms. As well as the article above it. TSE oil and gas subindex on fire - it's a blowout.

Actually I was very impressed wih the move in the stock price today. I believe that there is going to be momentum in the comming days that will serve to bring WML to new highs. My feeling is that its been viewed as a good buy and people are now catching on. I think this is a good one. By the way be careful with CIBC, the quarter looks good but move with caution...I expect the stock price of CIBC to move to $45.00 within the comming month.
