I guess now nobody is gonna support this stock since he announced the sharebuyback is over. No wonder the stock is down. Nobody wants it.

The share buy-back is to offset dilution that would occur when employees DO cash in their option. Yes, nobody has exercisable options at Inprise right now. But when they do cash them in, if the company has treasury stock that they purchased at about $4.8 a share, they've just offset the shareholder's dilution at a lower price.

I'm just as frustrated as everybody else about the share price. But if you look at Inprise and compare it to what Borland was 2 years ago, then you come up with one of two conclusions: That Inprise shares at this price are undervalued or that Borland shares two years ago were overvalued. I'm in the undervalued camp. I talked to Denise Franklin at Inprise IR a few weeks ago. The share price aside, things are going well with the company and the turnaround plan. MORE REVENUE is what everyone is looking for and we'll see it surface this year. The Q1 results will give us a look at how sales and expenses break down between both Borland.com and Inprise divisions. We'll see that there is revenue growth in the Inprise division and see if they can improve the sales in the Borland.com division. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this hashes out..

I'd also encourage frustrated investors to get ahold of IR at Inprise. There is a lot false information, innuendo and just plain ignorant comments floating around. It was nice to hear some facts about what's going on at Inprise..
