<<1. Does anyone know why the female officer sold 300,000 shares in January?>>

Because Greed is Good <G>

Probably just some of that good luck timing like the officers in RENT had when they sold near the top!

I feel badly that so many investors who bought higher than this level did not foresee this price plunge- especially because of what it will now take to get the price anywhere near to the brief, former higher price levels.

This is roughly where the price was before the anticipatory up swing that was caused by rumours of an IBM deal. So, how will this stock get beyond $5, much less approach 7 or 8? It will require either a knockout earnings report, especially a rumour of that; rumors of fantastic news about to break regarding some major deal with high money content attached, or such actual news itself. A buy recommendation from a major house might follow such an event, and that too would certainly help.

>Does anyone know why the female officer sold 300,000 shares in January? I can understand Petit's continual sales, but this doesn't look good.<

Does it make you wonder if she knew anything in advance?

>I sure hope during the next conference call someone is able to get through (like Sandie did) to ask Murrie what he is going to do to enhance shareholder value....new analyst coverage, better PR etc.<

I wonder, really, what else could he do that would actually increase shareholder value? I think he needs to work on improving communication, as has been talked about here, but beyond that perhaps there really is nothing additional to communicate that would improve shareholder value(cause the stock price to rise). Could it be that we expected too much from HIE, and that we just need to accept it for what it is and just let it go its way? Perhaps its destiny is not to be a shareholder's dream investment?
