Unfortunately DELL was the only stock in my portfolio that went down today ! Hard to believe !

FYi..since Oct..Good damn thing he couldn't short those boogers To: Lord Smooth (0 ) From: hdl Sunday, Nov 29 1998 7:02PM ET Reply # of 16 1.when i tried to short ktel or other crazy stocks, i couldn't get them to short. 2. i shorted dell to my chagrin 3. i would have been better off buying puts on dell- i would have lost less 4. puts are very expensive on crazy highfliers-but shorts have unlimited loss 5. it may be difficult or impossible to short or buy puts with garbage internet stocks 6. is there an index i can use -what play would make most sense-i'm willing to bet against internet as a whole-altho would prefer to limit bet to the garbage
