Well you all know I'm not currently high on SGI(as an investment). The negative yahoo post may or may not be true. Fact, Can anyone confirm that only one workstation was in the booth. If that fact is confirmed, then the rest of post could be (is likely )true. On the other hand if I was at a show like that and I was an investor in the company, and I witnessed the yahoo post details, I would take names, find out who the senior person present was and ream him or her out. I'd find out who worked for who and be my gentle self. But if someone like me was there, then the first yahoo could have a true post and the second contrary yahoo could be telling the truth. Depends on the time line. The question is did anyone who was at the convention think that the sgi guys were walking around funny like they had had their butt reamed. Ah, where is truth? As a long term user of great SGI workstations, I would tell anyone wanting to buy a sgi nt box that they were fools. But as we all know, N T fool will buy an N T box. Hey I would not want that proprietary water shedding box to run linux on. Now I don't know how to express a lower opinion than that. Now remember folks before you all chastise me, that I've personally purchased 5k of SGI stuff to give you investors a nanomil of revenue per share. Well maybe only a micro nanomil.
