After the close BT Alex Brown reiterated strong buy on AMZN and moved revenue numbers way up for quarter and year.

DrugStore.com will have some competition; planetrx.com

From my informal survey of several items, PlanetRX's prices are much better and the site browses better than DrugStore.com.

According to the TA, Amazon looks more like it is poised to move up than down. The recent upgrades are likely due to analysts inside information from Amazon (The head of the FTC said he is going to stop preferential treatment of ANALS - he wants all disclosures to ANALS to be made publicly - three chears!!!) I hope Amazon isn't playing footsy with the ANALS but suspect that the analysts have been told details of operations that have not been made public. This reliance on analyst will hopefully be changed as the fed puts pressure on the industry.

Amazon is probably going to head up a bit. How much depends on how the market reacts at this point. I expect their sales numbers for this quarter will be up modestly and the contribution by DrugStore.com will add significantly to the interest in the stock. The move might not happen until near earnings release. This is more guess work - the TA isn't making that strong of a case up and there is still plenty of resistance.

Hasn't amzn failed to clear this level three times this week already ?

The more reason to watch out when we clear that barrier.
BTW, we may just gap open above $140 on Fri.
