Two years ago the farm economy was fine. Now hogs are selling at 20 cents per pound under production costs but have you seen cheap pork chops? Corn and soy beans at production costs, that's less the payment on the loan to buy them. Lots of farmers who's families have farmed the same ground for 100 years are eating the muzzle instead of facing being broke. <<they didn't make us think there was anything wrong with the farm economy. >> Was the trip sponsored by the government?
