North American Semiconductor"

Great! All we have to do now is convince everyone that AMD can deliver product. No small task given their recent and not so recent past. I am one of the last to be a cynic on this stock, but right now they are at a relative low in corporate credibility. The market is likely to pull a Missouri on the stock and say "SHOW ME" some profitable product before there is any serious buying of it again.

I bought a PC before the DRAM price crash with 1 gigabyte of RAM for
$25,000 just about three years ago(may be four?). It has four 200 Mhz Pentium Pros with NT Server. It was over $35,000 for the whole machine without the RAID (200 Gbyte).

Why would amd rally on this news? This is b2b for equipment industry.
