PLEASANTON, Calif., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Documentum, Inc. (Nasdaq:
DCTM), provider of the market-leading Web Application Environment(TM)
and the Innovation Series of Applications(TM), today announced that
Paul Hoffman, vice president of worldwide sales, plans to leave the
company as of April 1.

"Paul has contributed significantly to the tremendous growth and
success of Documentum," said Jeffrey A. Miller, Documentum's president
and chief executive officer. "His sales leadership and hard work have
played a key role in building a solid foundation for the company.

Hoffman joined Documentum in September 1996, contributing to the
company's growth over the past two years. Under Paul's tenure revenue
grew from $45.3 million in 1996 to $123.8 million in 1998. "Working at

rewarding," said Hoffman. "Documentum has become the market leader in
its field, has developed a strong sales force and has built an
impressive customer base. As I leave the company, I am confident in
