An interBet promotion.

Dear scouser ,

Atlantic interBet is proud to announce the first Winner Takes All $500 Interactive Poker Tournament.

You can enter by replying to this email with "$500" in the subject box, or by simply showing up at Atlantic interBet on Saturday, March 20, 1999. The registration and seating time will take place between 6:00P and 6:30P EST on the first floor of the "Seven-Card Stud" Room of Atlantic interBet.
There is no entry fee. Players use their own money to compete against each other at the $1 tables.

*Those who reply to this email before March 20, 1999 at 4:00P will be seated first.

Here's how it works.

The Atlantic interBet staff will greet you on the seven-card stud #1 floor and marquees will warn non-participating players that a tournament will soon be taking place.

Further seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The seat that you sit in will be yours throughout the first phase of the tournament. You may only be asked to move to another table by a person with *'s. No seat movement will be allowed once play begins. Please remember that because you cannot "stand" once the tournament begins, you should allow yourself enough reserve cash so that you don't run out of funds in the middle of the tournament, eliminating yourself from the competition.
There will be a brief intermission between the 1st and 2nd phases.

PHASE #1

6P - 6:30
After you are seated, play will begin at 6:30. The object is to win as many hands as you can in 60 minutes. The player with the most wins at the end of the 60 Minutes (the last hand may continue until realization if the 60 minute mark elapses) moves on to Phase #2.
At the end of the 60 minutes. Atlantic interBet staff will tally the scores.

7:30
If there is a "tie" at any of the tables the remaining "tied" players will compete for the Phase #1 playoff.
If there is a 3-way tie, the player with the last win gets to play the winner of the other two players..

8:00
PHASE #2
The winners of each table will play at table #1
If more than one room is needed; the second floor Phase#2 will also play at table #1.

9:00P
All play will cease. Hands that are still in play will be continued in the same manner as Phase #1.

The winner will be announced immediately by ****Mark.

Reserve your seat now by replying to this email with "$500", or if you'd like more information about the tournament, please reply to this email with "poker question" in the subject box.

Good Luck to all!

I can't wait for earnings to come out. I want to open an account with WINR. Turns out it's supposed to be illegal because of the wire act which forbids making wagers over phone lines, but this is a federal law which has not been enforced and it's pretty much up to each state. Looked at PCBM. Don't have much information about it, though. What's going on there? Thanks again Dave.
