Ed-- We have a nice position in hydride storage of hydrogen. See the glossy brochure which arrived with the letter to shareholders-- thermal storage i think they call it. Still the feeling of the fuel cell boys is they need more on board storage. so they are pursuing onboard reformation of methanol, gasoline, etc. to me this is way too complicated. Just give me some 100wh/kg NiMh at a price which most certainly doesn't need to get down to $150/kwh for the world to embrace it, and i'll be happy.
