March has been an incredible month for me because of margins on MSFT and all the March and April calls. Thanks to you that I'm playing my first options ever, not a single loser thanks to the market condition. I think we're fairly safe until April 1. Don't forget that NASDAQ still has a lot of catch up to do.

Jaron, I do not recommend options. As you probably noticed, I am trying to get out of options altogether. I had my good run with MSFT options but I feel the risks are out there too. Stop before you get addicted. I had a rough February because I went overboard with options. Luckily I am well ahead at this point.
I advise is that you should be carefull with options due to the addictive nature, especially when your first options trades are big successes. The confidence you get from your current success could end up hurting you later.

For example suppose you play options with 10% percent of your holding and the market goes down along with a great stock like MSFT. The temptation becomes to increase the option holdings by getting rid of the stock OR sell your in the money options and use the proceeds to go out of the money(in a declining market). This very risky strategy has paid off for me because the market has always bounced back.
As long as you are very disciplined with option plays, you could be alright. However, I was not disciplined------have become disciplined now. Otherwise I would not dream of profit taking before the stock split but I am doing it and will continue right up until the split.
I just wanted to be clear that I do not recommend people try options. If they decide to, be disciplined in your trading.

Having said all that----Good Luck and hope you make a lot of cash!!!

BTW--I tried to unload about one half of my option holdings late day but got filled on only one-third. Tomorrow should be great. NAZ futures up 10 points.
