Right! There's an "over-language." To many things. Sometimes tho, it's a drafting "under language", and you get sucked in, and they tear your little arms off, and dump you in the ditch with the arms they've already off.

Like maybe Vietnam.

It pays if Mama and we are either slow to get what their offer is, about; or tough negotiators. It really looks the same, most of the time. I mean, that's on our side, if we're really not tough. And people making the offers are usually impatient.

"I want to have sex with Susie on your desk."

I have sometimes thought of going back and talking to that guy. I doubt he is alive, but one time I went back and talked to a teacher in that same school, second floor first left of the main, who hated me but feared me, and after our talk was over, he said, "I wish you had made that much sense in my class." I was pleased as punch, of course. Because I felt his feelings resolving into a present of respect. Strangely, I had always respected him. Or I wouldn't have gone back, obviously; but I always wondered why he didn't let me be me, and "in." He was protecting something, or some kids, that for a "scientist" and even "person", he didn't need to.

Or; maybe I was a jerk.

I remember leaving the room then, the room and the hall, all the spaces and thoughts, of then and years and days of years before, and thinking, "I wonder what has changed?"

Not in the sense of "nothing has changed!"; but in the sense of, do I make more sense; has he changed; or has Something changed.

We shook hands and he gave me warm smiles, though, and that was the most important thing of it all.
