Why stop with just gold ? Why not expand a not for profit concern and go after OPEC etc...?
We all know what eventually happens to freely traded commodities that are controlled over a period of time. Heck,look at gold in the 70's coming off the standard. Same situation now. Only difference is that it is being surpressed on a much wider scale. One might say on a global scale and not just local. Point being,gold could be at $1000 per oz for any number of reasons not of which GATA would or could be party to. Why not make the concern of a much stronger and deeper footing ? Timing would not be of such an essence. Who is going to support your cause if gold goes to $2000 per ?
A not for profit concern breaking down suspected manipulation of any and all commodities is likely to attract far greater acceptance. Surely,you have pondered this and I wonder why you would not choose this road. As you know,to the average potential giver you come across as just a bunch of self serving turkeys.
