Miguel.... DW is no fool... agreed.... and....he is not acting alone.....agreed

this became obvious in the CC. There is a BOD, and majority stake holders that are all working together (IMHO). Everyone keeps pitting DW vs. BD... But I think there is more than that... What we have here is the front line (public image)... and the top line (controlling interests).... jockying for the 'best deal' for all shareholders.

I believe Lycos, Davidson went ahead with the agreement without realizing shareholder power. Believe me, there have been times when I wondered why shareholders did not speak up on mangement's actions or inactions in other companies. The time that this was the most apparent in recent history (that I'm aware of) is Apple, where there was inept management at all levels; until shareholders stepped in (another that comes to mind is IBM, and maybe T).
