CPQ, that's nothing, I bot LU @ 105 last August just after it peaked. Split rumors were abounding and I bit. I rode it all the way down to the 50'ies (wrote some covered calls along the way mind you).

I bought my initial position in CSCO at 70 on 1/28/97. I then doubled my position at 57 on 2/25/97 (plus a put for insurance) on the way down to the bottom where I cashed out my put for a small profit (within 2 points of the bottom). I added a third lot of the same size at 83-5/8 on 12/11/97, and since then it's split 3:2 twice. But that first couple of months sure were gut wrenching with my initial lot losing about 1/3 of it's value.
