buddy of mine went to the market in santa ana. machine does exist. the area borders a bad part of town which is why the store owner would prefer machine does check cashing rather than having cash on hand to cash checks at counter. my friend asked cashiers on duty if machine was used and their response was yes. unfortunatly my friend does not speak spanish and this neighborhood is hispanic. their response could of been a matter of politeness. there was a 1-800-495-5674 for uniteller banner outside the store. my friend also metioned that he had heard union bank may be coming out with similar type machine. I'm out of town this week but will try and follow up upon return.
