I appreciate your comments and corrections, Maurice, but when one comes to the Gilder thread, one expects to read something that is literate, to the point, and, hopefully, up to "Gilder" standards. I thought that the thread was started with this in mind. For some time now, I have the distinct feeling that Gilder is studiously avoiding this thread. Let's hope his wisdom returns. I did not mean to imply that you, or anybody else for that matter, is stupid. What I meant to imply is that each of us should respect the nature and character of this thread, remembering why it was started and what it is supposed to discuss.
