I am beginning to think 'all' of media is out to pump and dump and Market Their Wares.......

It's like a chorus singing the praises of overpriced issues to con the small investor into buying at just the wrong time, while downplaying real bargains to get the little guy to sell, again just at the wrong time.

Sector rotation is occurring and if one listens to the media hype, it is likely the majority will be on the wrong side of the switch. FWIW

K

Note: I didn't use to be this cynical........

Silenced by a nincompoop!

Lingerfelt: (referring to my response to David Cooper, founder of YAHOO Investors Business Daily's new club and message board): "Your statements are harsh, but very true. Perhaps he will be intelligent enough to give your statements serious consideration."

Cooper gave my statements serious consideration. He exercised his prerogative 'as founder' of the YAHOO "Investors Business Daily" club to DELETE almost all my posts responsive to his biased and unsupportable arguments.

I responded to the following message from a club member by citing and linking a "Bloomberg" Recap of Crude Reductions which was very positive for the sector. I also provided a link to this message board (also deleted) so that "club" members might avail themselves of the best information and analyses available anywhere with regard to Oil Services.

10:18PM ESTto be cut by 2mbpd? OPEC has talked about making cuts but the seldom follow through. It is a nature of the cartel, that individual members will talk about making cuts while in reality their hope is that other members will cut.

If they do cut, it will in all likelihood be temporary. Then they'll open the floodgates in order to try to raise their own revenues.

Bottom line, prospects for sustained growth is limited and cyclical. Maybe you can ride the present wave a little higher, but don't delude yourself.

Good luck"

Mr. Cooper very predictably left the above message on his message board while choosing to eliminate the "Rest of the Story".

My Oil Patch dispatches were replaced by the, 'very predictable'' Mr. Coopers continuing 'touts' for 'Telecommunications' (which is a very promising sector; but, not at these price levels).

Mr. Cooper sure knows how to win an argument! Good luck to anyone disposed to listen to his IBD mantra that the computer is smarter than you are.
