No, I am not short, just trying to balance some of this overenthusiasm with some reality. I bought mine last Fall at 7.5 and sold most between 18.125 and 18.5 with a number of day trades for 1/4 points here and there. I am holding a small long position now and consider myself fortunate to have done so well.

I have followed VLSI for a long time and don't claim to know everything about it. However, all I hear on this board is that VLSI is so much more valuable than _________ (pick a large number).

This stock has almost doubled in a month yet many are remarking how undervalued it is. This kind of unbridled enthusiasm rarely bodes well for a stock. I bought a large amount of VLSI when it bottomed last Fall-- when people were running for the hills claiming the world as we know it was coming to an end. Experience has shown me that when this happens, it may be a good time to pick up some cheap stock. When people talk about a stock the way they are about VLSI, the opposite usually happens. Buy from those with fear and sell to those without it. It's not a bad strategy and it's worked for me.

Just my point of view.
