here is summary about it :

BOSTON (CBS.MW) -- Shares of Netegrity shot up 89 percent Thursday on
news the Internet company is seeking market share in the e-commerce arena.

Shares of Netegrity (NETE), which develops software
for controlling user access to electronic commerce
applications, saw its shares jump 6 7/8 to 14 3/4 on
heavy volume.

During an interview with the Massachusetts Investor's
Digest, Netegrity's chief executive officer Barry
Bycoff said the company's recent pact with Netscape
(NSCP) will expand the potential reach of its
SiteMinder product. See press release.

SiteMinder enables companies to securely distribute
business information over the Web.

Under terms of the deal, which were laid out in a
January press release, Netscape will resell Netegrity's
SiteMinder.

The Waltham, Mass.-based company said it has inked
business pacts with Banyan Systems (BNYN), a
network software and services provider, and Allaire
Corporation (ALLR), a provider of Web application
development software.

According to Massachusetts Investor's Digest, shares of Netegrity, priced at
under $5 dollars a share for most of 1998, began moving toward the $10 level
as the idea of e-commerce grew hotter during the holiday shopping season.

The company was not available for comment. nt news ...watch them and tell me what you think :))
