No offense taken Benkea..

>>"PS: I thought rape was against the law!!!!"
How were you dressed? Just kidding
I thought consent was a decent defense to rape? >>

You are right...rape is against the law...Unfortunately only in a sexual sense!1 There are other ways to rape people!! How was I dressed????LOL...it didn't matter how I was dressed, as long as I had a cigarette in my mouth...

In regard to a defense to "consent" to rape...I have to admit, at the young tender age of 13, I picked up that first cigarette with my own willingness, and therefore "consented"...What I didn't know, was the unbelievable addictive qualities of it...I was too young to know that...was just trying to be grown up, and was not old enough to make a intelligent/informative decision, though at the time, informative decisions were based on what was acceptable, and as we know, it was more than acceptable at the time....it was expected almost....the push was on!!! Just like "rape" sort of....many people did not come forward many years ago, due to the stigma, or the turning of the tables, in which the victim was to blame....That is no longer ok either....And as a smoker, who is not in denial, I would welcome some of that $$$ targeted for programs to actually help people trying to stop smoking..Not the "fluff" that is offered...Like I said, I can go many places if I am addicted to cocaine, heroine...If it is alcohol, there are also many places sponsored by the govt..That is where the conflict comes in.....If too many people stop smoking...it not only cuts off BILLIONS OF TAXES....it also jeapardizes those farmers who are still producing, and threatens the likes of Philip Morris, and others, major, powerful corporations...ALL OF WHICH HAVE SOME VERY POWERFUL LOBBYISTS!!!!...As most know, the tobacco industry has seen this coming, and has branched out and bought other companies over the years, such as Campbells, just for starters, in order to keep the $$ coming in, in order to offset the day when the percentage of smokers go down in the US....If you do some research, you will find that they have upped their promotions outside the US, where many places do not impose the same regulations...There is a problem here....
