Here's a contrarian view. Are DW's moves with LCOS the grandest example of greed in the Internet sector we've ever seen? Instead of walking away from LCOS with huge profits we are in jeopardy of damaging valuations across the board. Is it worth the risk? Is DW that good at poker? I am long on CMGI (bought at 99, sold at 204, back in with half of original position at 184) but view LCOS and CMGI being mentioned in the same sentence as a negative. What are the consequences should we settle LCOS deal as is vs. Diller beating us at this game? Just a thought to stir the pot. (If the LCOS shareholder vote was a way to block the LCOS option play in the case of a spoiled acquisition all along then CMGI had better read their contracts more carefully in the future) Stuart
