Dale, I agree with your proposition. But most of the top SEC are limp wristed pansies and not only will do nothing of substance, they will tend to support bubble maintaining practices. Keep the inner club rich, I guess, although MB can correct me if I'm wrong on this. -g-

While their selective dispensing of information is irritating, I suspect it won't change much. For my part, I consider it an advantage that we "amateurs" can make use of. Company execs are always "optimistic" in their pronouncements. The analysts get taken in. It is much more useful to know whether the company's products are actually selling to a consumer. A few visits to some sales outlets accomplishes this rather efficiently. (g)
