Shane-

No, I have no opinion really. My direct experience with SAP is limited. We operate on the periphery of SAP, but hear much about our customers' trials and tribulations when implementing ERP systems. Therefore I don't know many specifics about SAP's architecture.

I do get the impression that SAP tries to be all things to all people, and this is a tough row to hoe.

DSTM's eMRO is an inter-business tool, whereas MP2 is an intra-business tool. I think that inter-business connectivity is a gold mine and DSTM will be involved in it during the 2-5 year time frame. Beyond that, it's anybody's guess what categories of software will still exist and prosper.

I think we're seeing a nice one-time buying opportunity for some of these companies, similar to the chips & techs last October. Remember how the sky was falling? People weren't going to buy any more computers all of a sudden! How many times have I heard that line in the last 15 years? And ERP is going to stagnate, too. Right.

Don't get me wrong. I hate the sky-high valuations these things were wearing 6-12 months ago. But DSTM hovering at 9 is ridiculous.

The worst case scenario I can devise is that DSTM product sales do stagnate and DSTM gets bought out at 15. And that's WORST case.

Still pulling for 7-1/2,
-Wright
