Hello Gottfried,

Thank you, I appreciate your graphs and your posts. You, along with Paul V of the AMAT thread have been very helpful.
I have to say that in the past few months, I have been surprised at
the resistance of the market to the techs. The numbers are better, but
there is so much fear out there that I have finally decided to trade in and out for some excitement.

Peace

G.M.

It's been a long time since we chatted about this stock but I have, after some reservation, re-entered KLIC. Word is they are seeing nice order flow and SEA is actually back in business. I missed the run from $9 but as we both know when KLIC wants to hop it's a fast move to $40-$50.

Let's hope the market plays ball and we get our typical summer run!

Gottfried and/or any fundamental experts on the thread:

How do you value KLIC if someone wanted to buy it? (the company I mean, not a few shares)

Multiple of book? (makes no real sense)

Projected (across cycles) earnings multiple? But what - 4 times? 40 times?

Average stock price during 2 or more up- and down cycles?

Some convoluted formula involving a smoothed orderbook trend line?

Choose a number at random between 18 and 35?

Let's assume there's no flip-chip on the horizon to complicate things.

Any/all insights much appreciated. Thanks.
