Who's making cracks about whom up the chain? You guys can dish it out, that's for sure. Michelle is too hysterical about the supposed Radical Right to do it, and Daniel fancies himself a soldier in the fading ranks of Social Democrats, if I infer correctly from some of his posts... No, don't lose any sleep.. You want to make common cause with good Christian Dwight, be my guest. I reserve the right to mock people who preach hatred from a religious viewpoint. Or maybe you could explain to me about the "Forest Health Preservation Act", another favorite of Dwight's (but not John LaCelle, who blames it on Clinton) where we had to clearcut the forests to "save" them. Another good conservative cause there, my personal pet peeve with Newt's class of '94. P.S. If by "futile attempts at wit" you mean the JLA dialog, it's not supposed to be particularly witty.
