I took a walk on my road, 3.5 miles, so excited about my research that I put 16 pages on a clipboard (recycled motherboard) and read the whole distance. Mr. Duray, I am flabbergasted that others also venture out for a good walk with clipboard in hand. I'm so pleased to read that you can do this in a pleasant environment. I am often jostled when I take my clipboard for a walk in the downtown district of my city. How nice it would be to interact positively with passers by such as you do.
