Re: Lucent, Ciena, Nortel, etc., it seems highly probable that if one or more of these is unable to come up with a working Metro DWDM product within 6 months to a year they will have to buy the technology to keep up. Osicom would seem the logical 1st choice.

Even divested of NSIL the price should be boosted even more by the critical need of a competitor to stay in business. Suppose Ciena and Nortel have working, selling systems, but Lucent has technical design flaws. They can't afford to have all their customers go to Nortel or Ciena before they can accommodate them.

Further, how long can the big ones allow Osicom to be the only one with a deliverable system? And 87 evaluators already - what is their alternative for implementing a tested, working system?

So the near and long term potential is excellent. But I still want my NSIL shares.
