Do you think that the US should force Panama to terminate the HWI contracts and throw the company out because the CEO has friends in Beijing? Note that even Moorer is not claiming that HWI facilities have ever been used for espionage or military purposes. The whole argument is based on "close ties", which is suddenly blown up to being a "commercial front". I've always thought of Hutchison-Whampoa as an established HK blue chip company, about as far to the left as Attila the Hun. Does anyone have any information to the contrary?
