Dude, are you, like, paying attention? Inprise announced that of the authorized 5,900,000 shares they have bought back all they plan on buying back for the foreseeable future. There is no announcement of any buy-back program in that press release except some obscure reference to the future. They have purchased 4,500,000 of an authorized 5,900,000 (assuming the needlessly, perhaps deliberately confusing language in the press release is correct) and now they are hanging up their cleats and terminating the program.

COST: $5.65 @ 4,500,000 = $25,425,000
VALUE: $3.75 @ 4,500,000 = $16,875,000
LOSS: $8,550,000

Also, please be advised that Del has promised to eat the remaining $16,875,000 value through additional dilution of one form or another, up to a payment on another AQ, we could reasonably assume.
