ahoj!!

Please don't think that this an attack on you but more on the style you advocate...It is this type of mentality that harms serious long term investors who take the time and effort to do DD and invest in something that they believe in, as well as people like yourself.

Say, for example, that I did DD on a stock, invested in it and it's doing well and then one day I notice above average volume and then the next day a " stock guru " posts that it is a " pick ", all the sheep
( baa baa ) rush in ( of course I say hmmmm he's right ) the price goes up ( I'm a happy camper ) and then the selling starts. At the end of the day the stock has dropped below it's open.

I am not too concerned because I believe in the stock and it will go back up. The daytraders and the " guru " have made alot of money, but
what about the people who don't have instant trades and who placed a buy order which was filled on the way DOWN ( with their kid's college fund or their retirement money etc. etc.)?

Oh, I give up. If that's what you want to do, are too lazy or don't know how to do DD ( check out gorilla game home page for tips ). Then go ahead and do it

I realize that I have taken up alot of space and that perhaps my post isn't as concise as I would like it to be but the sheep really pi*s me off!

pivo ( calming down now, it's Friday and one of restaurant investments

"First, we are newbies, we either learn real quick (depending on how much $$ we have) or we're gone and never knew what hit us. "

That is one of the things I am trying to prevent. Newbie dollars being poorly invested is all too common, but when it starts to line the pockets of a little manipulator (or big) it angers me.

"Next we become sheep looking for the right leaders to follow and hope to make $$ by following someone else's picks. DD is a great idea for INVESTORS, BUT WE ARE TRADERS, in and out before the music (no pun intended) stops."

The smart ones learn and become their own human type people, and some become wolves. Investor and traders alike benefit from DD, otherwise it is neither. It becomes gambling.

"Some of us sheep would love to be the shepherd. Pick the stocks for others to follow...got to think that's a real rush. Make a pick and watch the stock take off..."

THAT is the problem. A young underdeveloped ego with delusions of grandeur has managed to get himself a herd because of his age. He makes the pick and gets the rush and makes the money and some newbies lose their shirts.

"Musicguy, be a leader or a follower, but don't try to be my guardian."

I am not a leader in this arena, I share my plays with my friends, and they share with me. We discuss and decide. It works. I am not a follower. I am also not a guardian. I am just someone that will NOT accept Daniels tactics and will continue to point them out as long as he behaves this way. If he grows up when he is 25, I'll stop. Until then, he should get used to it.
