TOKYO - Schlumberger KK announced Wednesday that it has begun selling
high-performance testers that can be used to configure test systems for
the development and manufacture of high-speed direct Rambus DRAM
(dynamic random access memory).

The RDX2200, designed for use on production lines, can test up to eight
chips simultaneously and has a data transfer rate of 1 gigabit per second.
