IDT's Strategy I'd summarize my reading on IDT's vision re strategy: IDT - Becoming A profitable leading telecom service provider serving growing global long distance telecom customers with competitive pricing achieved via innovative technologies. (Note: IDT's stock price already relected the strategy. However, the Net2Phone and ISP business had loss and thus a spinoff are underway to improve IDT shareholder value.) Net2Phone - Becoming THE leader, in terms of both revenue and subscriber figures, by 2000 in rapidly growing internet telephony service industry via strategic alliances with large and established companies. (Note: IDT's stock price has reflected little re Net2Phone business. As I said before, institutions will buy IDT and/or Net2Phone after spinoff completion. Mixed bag is normally avoided by the street due to uncertainty and unclear investment judgement.) Given IDT's aggressive growth history, I'd believe there are a lot of issues which may not have been resolved, especially on customer satisfaction side. It is normal and takes time.
