BID IS 19-5/16 at 9:03AM pre-open. The real question for me is whether to buy more calls. The second question is whether to sell any of my stock to subsidize leaps. I haven't decided very much. I figure that March calls really have to be sold today, though possibly not till the close. I figure that April calls can be held or sold, depending on the action during this month.

I don't have the cash to buy leaps without selling stock, so I'm considering selling just a portion of my shares and then buying leaps -- not all of them. I still think we have an excellent chance of getting from 22-26 for the stock.

It's in Phillips' interests to act like they won't up their offer, because they hope to keep the price of the stock down. If they admit now that they will up their offer later, the stock price will preceed their offer, possibly rising above their offer yet again. So they have to say they do not currently plan a higher offer. I think that's probably a bluff, but whether it's a bluff or not, if they don't up their offer I think they'll walk away empty.
