Interested in some numbers for SGI? Try this URL: 411stocks.com BTW, I do NOT wish layoffs for anyone, but there are so many people trying to do jobs for which they are not suited in this world. Sales people need to be personable first and technophiles second. Engineers should be technophiles first... Any person hanging around a booth trying to get info/demo on a product should be treated well, not ig- nored or snubbed. These people came to see your product and maybe provide you with a portion of your paycheck, unless you tick them off! JMHO

dd, sorry for the delayed response. I have not seen any of my machines yet. However, I had a meeting with the VP of 'workstation development' at SGI, and he has given me a loaner til' I get my computers. The sad thing is that by the time I get my machines (PII-450), they are out dated. : We are doing some extensive bench mark testing on the loaner VW-320 and also comparing it with HP-fX6. I will post a detailed message as soon as I have finalized our testings. --Ramin
