One more(final)off thread post-- Ericcson is taking a huge gamble by betting it's whole US operations (nearly 21% of the market) on a court case in Texas. If it is being tried before a jury the outcome ,whatever the facts are, becomes pure speculation. Texas juries are notorious for big awards, and as the smaller company, an American company, QCOM will have the emotional edge with a Texas jury. Smart tech companies never let cases like this go to a judge if they can help it, much less a jury. The outcome is too unpredictable, the risks too big. If neither the judge or the jury is technically advanced enough to really understand the issues, the case will be decided on emotion and whoever has the most believable expert witnesses. The more I think about it, the more I think you are right betting on a settlement. Thanks again.
