I'm sorry Daniel, I don't normally like to make negative posts about anything but this poster really is getting me ticked.

RICE wrote this:

"Check this out: AMAZON.COM has a banner on the Rodeo Island mall
site. For those who doubted, AMAZON does not deal with fly by night
companies. I am sure they have done their research on ABFG, liked the
idea and have come to realize that there is tremendous potential here.
IMO this is ground level."

Nothing against ABFG as a company, I really don't know anything about it but a post like this is pure hype and should be avoided at all cost. Let me explain.

Amazon has thousands of affiliates worldwide. My company is one of them. Does that mean that all of you should run and buy stock in my company? Absolutely not. Just because Amazon ALLOWS a company to put their banner on their site does not mean that Amazon is paying for advertising or in any way recommending it as a good company. Amazon may have no idea what this company is really about.

"I am sure they have done their research on ABFG, liked the idea and have come to realize that there is tremendous potential here."

What makes this poster so sure of anything? Now posters are speaking on behalf of Amazon? HELLO, Amazon might have something to say about that if you keep it up.

ABFG may or may not be a ground level opportunity but to make a statement that implies Amazon is supporting this small company goes beyond the reasonable.

Sorry people, but could you try to keep your feet on the planet and try to understand how Internet commerce really works? Just because you see the word Amazon and company XYZ at the same website does in no way imply Amazon's support of the company.

I'll bet this poster that Amazon doesn't pay 1 cent in advertising with this company. If people are going to hype this company by associating it with Amazon, the company may find itself forced to remove the Amazon banner by Amazon. Sheesh!

Lola :(

Excuse me, but anybody can place a banner of AMAZON.COM on his/her/its homepage. If I put banners of AOL, IBM, MicroSoft, Intel, and so on on my home page, does that mean I have deals with those companies and will it make my bank decide to loan $$$ to me?

Rice, I hate to have to tell you this, but this is still in the "dream company" category for me. And from the way the market has reacted to the "big news" I conclude I am not alone.

Before you put any more into this stock you might want to see who from Merril, Morgan Stanley, Everen, etc go on the trip.

Good luck with your investment.

P.S. I think Amazon will take advertising from just about anyone who will pay for it. Remember accepting an advertisement for a product imposes no obligation on Amazon for the performance of the product let alone the stock
