Off Topic: Non-unique aliases on SI! Was anyone else aware that the policy of SI allows for multiple users to have the same alias? I only recently discovered this, and was shocked. According to SI policy, anyone could select your alias, and begin posting messages under your alias. No one would know the difference.

For an example, search on 'people' at the bottom of the page, searching for 'aliases only.' Try searching for '007' (the alias I first head of this in regards to). You'll see there are two of them. Then try some part of your own name. You'll be surprised how many variants there are.

If anyone else finds this policy unacceptable (allowing exactly identical aliases), please contact the webmistress at the address at the bottom of the page. Thank you for your time.
