Paul, Re: "You guys crucified poor Kurlak."

The Merrill Lynch sales force crucified Kurlak, from all I've read. Now, the first report out of Osha mentions servers and the internet as important to Intel, something Kurlak never saw, or, at least, mentioned. These are the exact areas that got SUNW out of the doldrums and to high flyer status, when they got identified with them. I don't see why Intel shouldn't be accorded a better valuation based on their margins that get boosted by servers etc. Their margins are far better than Sun's. back to Kurlak, hey, you're just a few bad calls from the junk heap, no matter who you are. Trying to be objective in comparing Osha to Kurlak, out of the chute, Osha is seeing it much more like it is.

Paul F: As per your usual poor choice of words, Fiendfella, that “You guys crucified poor Kurlak”, no, it was more like roasting a toad!

You guys crucified poor Kurlak. You want to let Niles off the hook?

PF, you've got it all wrong. Kurlak committed suicide as we all watched and wondered (and laughed). Niles is the beneficiary of the analyst briefings that us ii's don't get until the analysts see fit to share the reason for their insight. Kurlak had no insight--just bad judgment. Two completely different situations, entirely.
