(OTCBB:WKWG - news) announced today that, in preparation for the initial release of its regional directory and search engine on March 31, 1999, the Company has re-assigned a number of key executive responsibilities. Brent Forgeron, a WelcomeTo co-founder, has been appointed Vice President, Business Development and has assumed responsibility for developing the strategic alliances the Company requires to quickly roll its regional directory and search engine out nationally. He recently concluded negotiations that resulted in a partnership with Exodus Communications (NASDAQ: EXDS - news), a leading provider of Internet systems and network management solutions for enterprises with mission-critical Internet operations. Under the agreement, Exodus will host the WelcomeTo regional sites and provide high speed, redundant Internet access to the WelcomeTo site. Ken Bradley, co-founder and Vice President, Finance and Administration for Xceedx Technologies Inc., has been appointed Vice President Operations and Chief Financial Officer of WelcomeTo. His past experience includes serving as Vice President, Finance and Administration at Modatech Systems Inc.; Regional Controller at Domtar Packaging; and Manager of Finance and Administration at Mobile Data International Inc. He takes over responsibility for financial planning and financial reporting from Joe Wurz who served as Chief Financial Officer for WelcomeTo on a consulting basis over the past two months. He also assumes responsibility for the national implementation and rollout of the WelcomeTo regional directory and search engine. WelcomeTo Search Engine, Inc. is developing the most advanced business directory system and search engine on the Web. The Company is on schedule to introduce the initial release of its product on March 31, 1999 and to commence its national rollout on June 30, 1999.
