Wait a week. IE5 is really little more than an incremental upgrade. It should be called 4.2 (or 4.5 as the Mac folks call their version), since there's not all that much that's different from IE4 (based on my use of the beta for a few days). Another advantage of waiting is that you might be able to benefit from last minute fixes to bugs that will be revealed in this release version.

Regarding the IE 5 Download:

I downloaded it last night at 10pm with no problems. It took a little over two hours, but it went smoothly. Just thought I would share one success story on this topic with the group.
