I wouldn't be surprised if SFE is selling some shares from treasury stock today. They may be using this run up to get a little cash. I have no information or evidence as such, just that this is what I would do in the circumstances. Remember, they've been actively buying back shares until lately, so they may want to take some gains on that investment.

I'm pretty sure that would not be a taxable event -- anyone know for sure what happens if you buy back you own shares and then sell them?
