AOL and Ebay are two different things. Gateways to the net will always grow much
Faster, due to the general growth of the web. Also, the barriers of entry are much
greater for going against AOL versus EBAY. I am not negative on the concept or the
company, but, like most investors that are web clueless they miss the point on the net.
The ones who will make real money, not selling insiders shares, will be the
infrastructure builders and gateway providers. Something's within will have success, but with more
competition will make it a razor thin margin environment. Look at AMZN. Whoopee,
they are growing sales to the moon. Well, if they can't pull it to the bottom line now, when the mania is at this stage, how are they going to do it when it is a more
competition evades the market?
