Also, this latest move by CMGI may be just a way to force USA back to the negotiation table.

CMGI is telling USA, "Don't count on the 17% stock option! We will prevent you from getting that too! Unless you renegotiate your terms!"

I think that is what CMGI is trying more than anything else. They do believe that this business combination makes good sense. THey just don't like the price USA is paying for that.

I think this is what will happen behind the screens:

USA would try to get a feel of all the other major LCOS stockholders.
They would determine for themselves whether this deal would go through or not.
If THEY THINK that it would go through, they will not renegotiate.
If they think that it would not go through, they will either renegotiate or back out.

The ball is very much in USA's court now.

Teflon, i am hanging with a 100 shares of lcos since
i rode it down from 125 or so. unfortunately no
hope for positive action till july. earlier poster
said the usa prez makes out like a bandit if a white
knight enters before vote. starting to ask myself
why it doersn't make sense to switch the moey to aol.
