Congrats on your trade and good luck with the new stock. I sold the rest of my April 17-1/2's and bought more leaps at 17-1/2. The premium is high on the leaps right now, but I like the time insurance in case these negotiations take longer than we expect. So now I'm just holding a little more than half my stock position and a pretty large position in leaps. I'm pleased with the day's work.

I just am amazed at the stability of the price and that there is so much buying at this price range.

S&P sends out a release every HOUR (literally) saying to hold our VLSI positions and not sell.

All my other stocks are down quite a bit.

Linda

Dan,

Glad to see you made a few dollars on VLSI the latest leg up. Also think there will be some resistance at 20 next week, but take longer term view and am thus holding my position. Good luck with DGN, Jim

Dan, OT-- great job with DGN pick and reversal!

<<I sold my VLSI at 19 1/2 and bought DGN (Data General) at 10 1/16 on what looks
like a volume reversal for that stock. I still like VLSI because of Lehman's actions but I
think there will be more short term action in DGN.>>

you are up 20% as I type, DGN at "12"! HUGE volume-- 4 million+ I picked some up just under 11. Not sure if this is "short covering", "end of selling for the quarter by funds", or "acquisition action". Would appreciate your thoughts short term and longer term on DGN.

Regards,

QuadK
